Element Hotels have taken the lead in going green with a brand-wide commitment for all Element Hotels to pursue the U.S. Green Building Council's (USGBC) LEED Certification the nationally accepted benchmark for the design, construction and operation of high performance green buildings. How does the Element Miami International Airport help you stay green while on the road? In addition to our earth-friendly design and construction methods, we offer every private space (guest room) with the following:

- Water-efficient faucets fixtures
- Filtered water faucets
- Soy cushioning in furniture
- Use of over sized windows, open spaces, and natural light
- Low volatile paints for good air quality for our guests
- Environmentally friendly cleaning chemicals
- Recycled carpet cushions
- In room art mounted on recycled tires
- Amenity management services
- Silverware and glassware in place of paper/plastic supplies
In addition, Element Miami Airport works with eco-friendly vendors who offer sustainable products and solutions such as Waste Management for streamlined recycling, Eco-Lab for earth-friendly cleaning supplies and pest control, or Rainforest Coffee, who have environmentally friendly sourced products.
